  • The Parkway is open to cyclists — no bike lanes, share the road
  • Bring front and rear lights for tunnels (required by law)
  • Weather can change rapidly at 5,000+ feet — bring layers
  • Check road closures before riding — sections close for weather and construction
  • Start early to avoid afternoon traffic and thunderstorms
