Vescovo
Chef-owned 42-seat Italian in Brevard's Lumberyard District — dinner-only, intimate room, reservations are basically required to get a table.
Vescovo is the chef-owner Italian play, tucked into Brevard's Lumberyard District on King Street. Forty-two seats, dinner-only, and the kitchen runs Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 8 PM. The intimate scale is the whole point — small room, attentive service, and a menu that doesn't try to be everything for everyone.
Because the dining room is so small, reservations are essentially required if you want a table on a weekend. Walk-ins are a gamble even midweek. Located near the Griffon and Sphynx brewery and the rest of the Lumberyard District, so it's easy to combine with a pre-dinner pour or post-dinner drink across the street.
Closed Sunday and Monday entirely. Worth the planning if you're after a more focused Italian dinner than the casual American spots in town.
